A cozy and delicious Pumpkin Spice Milk recipe perfect for enjoying as a warm or cold autumnal beverage. Blended with pumpkin puree, honey, and pumpkin pie spice, this comforting drink can be quickly prepared on the stovetop or blended cold, then garnished with whipped cream and an extra sprinkle of spice for a festive touch.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

Milk Base

  • 1 cup / 240 ml / 8 fl oz milk of choice (can be dairy milk or non-dairy milk alternative)

Main Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup / 50 g / 1.7 oz pumpkin puree or canned pumpkin
  • 1 tbsp clear honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Garnishes

  • dollop of whipped cream
  • pinch of pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cold Pumpkin Spice Milk: Combine the milk, pumpkin puree, honey, and pumpkin pie spice in a blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Alternatively, place the ingredients in a large jar and use an immersion blender to blend until smooth.
  2. Heat for Warm Pumpkin Milk: If you prefer a hot beverage, pour all ingredients except the garnishes into a small saucepan. Heat over medium-high heat on the stovetop until the mixture is warm and steaming, stirring and whisking to combine thoroughly.
  3. Garnish: Pour the prepared pumpkin milk into a glass or mug. Optionally, top with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle a pinch of pumpkin pie spice on top to enhance the flavor and presentation.
  4. Serve: Serve immediately while warm or cold and enjoy your comforting pumpkin spice milk drink.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of honey or maple syrup according to your taste preferences.
  • Use any milk of your choice such as cow’s milk, almond milk, oat milk, or soy milk to keep it dairy or non-dairy.
  • For a stronger pumpkin spice flavor, increase the pumpkin pie spice up to 1/2 teaspoon.
  • The drink can be served either warm or cold depending on your preference and season.
  • Whipped cream garnish is optional but adds a nice creamy finishing touch.
