Ingredients
Fruits
- 2 cups frozen mango (or 2 fresh mangoes)
- 1 medium frozen banana
Liquids
- 1/2 cup full-fat coconut milk (from a can, mixed well)
- 1/2-1 cup water
Sweeteners & Garnish
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
- Fresh mango cubes for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Gather all the ingredients: frozen mango, frozen banana, coconut milk, water, and optional sweeteners and garnish. Measure 1/2 cup of coconut milk to start.
- Blend Smoothie: Add frozen mango, frozen banana, coconut milk, and 1/2 cup water into a high-speed or regular blender. Blend until smooth, stopping to stir or scrape the sides if needed. Use a tamper if available to assist blending. Adjust texture by adding more coconut milk or water as needed.
- Serve and Garnish: Pour the smooth mixture into two glasses. Optionally, top with fresh mango cubes for a colorful, fresh garnish. Serve immediately to enjoy the best flavor and texture.
Notes
- Use frozen fruits to create a naturally thick and cold smoothie; fresh mangoes work but may require adding ice.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding maple syrup or honey according to taste preferences.
- Full-fat coconut milk adds creaminess, but you can substitute with almond milk or regular milk if preferred.
- This smoothie is best enjoyed right after blending for optimal freshness and flavor.
