This refreshing Iced Guava White Tea Lemonade combines the delicate floral notes of white tea with the tropical sweetness of guava juice and the bright tartness of fresh lemon juice. Perfectly chilled with ice and subtly sweetened with honey, this beverage is a delightful thirst quencher on warm days.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

Tea Base

  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 tsp honey (optional, plus additional to taste)
  • 1 bag white tea
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes (plus additional for serving)

Juice Mix

  • 1 cup guava juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed, about 1/4-1/2 lemon, plus additional to taste)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve Honey and Steep Tea: In a large measuring cup, dissolve the honey (if using) in 1/2 cup of boiling water. Add the white tea bag and allow it to steep for 10 minutes to extract delicate flavors.
  2. Cool Tea with Ice: After 10 minutes, add 1/2 cup of ice cubes directly into the steeped tea to cool it further and allow the tea to steep for an additional 10 minutes, enhancing the chilled flavor.
  3. Add Juices: Mix in the guava juice and freshly squeezed lemon juice to the cooled tea. Stir well to combine all the flavors evenly.
  4. Serve: Fill 1 large or 2 small glasses generously with ice and pour the guava white tea lemonade over the ice. Adjust sweetness or lemon to taste and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a sweeter drink, add more honey to taste.
  • Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor impact.
  • White tea is delicate; avoid over-steeping to prevent bitterness.
  • Chill the guava juice beforehand for an even colder beverage.
  • This recipe is easily doubled or tripled for more servings.
