  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

Base Smoothie

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 cup frozen dark cherries
  • 2 scoops Bob’s Red Mill Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened plain almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/4 cup ice cubes

Toppings

  • Sliced banana
  • Fresh cherries
  • Bob’s Red Mill Granola
  • Chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Smoothie Base: Add the banana, frozen dark cherries, Bob’s Red Mill Vanilla Protein Powder, unsweetened plain almond milk, almond butter, and ice cubes into a blender. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy with no chunks remaining.
  2. Pour into a Bowl: Once blended to a smooth consistency, pour the smoothie mixture into a serving bowl, making sure to scrape down the sides of the blender to get every bit.
  3. Add Toppings: Top your smoothie bowl with sliced banana, fresh cherries, Bob’s Red Mill Granola, and sprinkle chia seeds on top to add a delightful crunch and extra nutrients. Serve immediately with a spoon.

Notes

  • You can substitute almond butter with peanut butter or any nut butter of your choice.
  • For a vegan version, ensure your protein powder is plant-based.
  • Adjust the thickness by adding more or less almond milk.
  • Use fresh cherries if frozen aren’t available, but add extra ice to keep the bowl cold and thick.
  • This bowl is best consumed immediately to enjoy the fresh flavors and crunchy toppings.
