This Brownie Batter Dip is a creamy, decadent dessert dip combining the rich flavor of brownie mix with smooth cream cheese and fluffy Cool Whip, studded with mini chocolate chips for added texture. Perfect for parties and easy to prepare in under 12 minutes, this no-bake dip pairs wonderfully with graham crackers, pretzels, or fresh fruit for a delightful treat.

  • Total Time: 12 minutes
  • Yield: 18 servings

Ingredients

Dip Ingredients

  • 18 oz box brownie mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 8 oz Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Heat the Brownie Mix: Put the brownie mix into a large mixing bowl, and microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the mixture reaches 165℉. Then allow it to cool completely to avoid melting the other ingredients.
  2. Beat Cream Cheese: In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese and beat until smooth and creamy, ensuring there are no lumps.
  3. Add Milk: Pour in 2 tablespoons of milk and continue beating to combine thoroughly for a smooth consistency.
  4. Incorporate Brownie Mix: Add the cooled brownie mix into the cream cheese mixture and mix until all lumps are gone and evenly combined.
  5. Fold in Cool Whip: Gently fold the thawed Cool Whip into the mixture until fully blended, maintaining the dip’s light and fluffy texture.
  6. Add Chocolate Chips: Fold in the mini chocolate chips carefully to distribute them evenly throughout the dip.
  7. Chill and Serve: Transfer the dip into a serving bowl. Optionally, top with sprinkles or extra chocolate chips. Refrigerate until ready to serve to allow flavors to meld and to maintain a firm, scoopable texture.

Notes

  • If using any other brownie mix, ensure it does not require baking to maintain the no-bake nature of this dip.
  • You can substitute Cool Whip with whipped cream for a fresher flavor, though texture may vary slightly.
  • Serve with graham crackers, pretzels, cookies, or fruit for dipping.
  • Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Ensure the brownie mix is fully cooled before mixing with cream cheese to prevent curdling.
