This Boozy Chocolate Hazelnut Fondue is rich, velvety, and ready in just 5 minutes with only five ingredients and a microwave. A perfect treat for date night or entertaining, it’s spiked with hazelnut liqueur for a Nutella-like flavor and served with your favorite dippers.

Ingredients

12 oz semisweet chocolate chips

1½ cups heavy cream

1 tbsp butter

3 tbsp hazelnut liqueur (or to taste)

2 tbsp chopped toasted hazelnuts (optional)

For serving: pound cake, strawberries, biscotti, pretzels, bananas

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl or large measuring cup, combine chocolate chips, heavy cream, and butter.
  2. Microwave for 2 minutes. Remove and whisk until smooth.
  3. Add hazelnut liqueur to taste and whisk until fully combined.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl or fondue pot. Top with chopped toasted hazelnuts if desired.
  5. Serve warm with your choice of dippers.
  6. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to a week; reheat in the microwave.
