Ingredients
Fruit
- 2 mangoes, diced
- 9 oz blueberries
- 4 kiwis, peeled and sliced into rounds
- 2 cups diced pineapple
- 1 pound strawberries, hulled and sliced
Dressing & Garnish
- Juice of one orange
- Juice of one lime
- Fresh chopped mint, for garnish
- Honey, optional for if your fruit is on the less sweet side
Instructions
- Combine Fruit: Add all of the diced mango, blueberries, sliced kiwis, diced pineapple, and sliced strawberries to a large mixing bowl.
- Toss with Citrus Juice: Pour the juice of one orange and one lime over the fruit mixture. Gently toss until all the fruit is evenly coated. Taste the salad and add honey if the fruit needs a little extra sweetness, then toss again.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle fresh chopped mint over the fruit salad as a garnish just before serving to add a bright herbal note and fresh aroma.
Notes
- Use ripe, fresh fruit for the best flavor and texture.
- If the fruit salad will be eaten later, keep it chilled and add the citrus juices just before serving to prevent browning.
- Honey is optional and depends on the sweetness of your fruit; use it sparingly to enhance natural flavors.
- Mint garnish adds freshness but can be omitted if unavailable.
