Ingredients
2 cups spiral pasta
1 pound ground beef
1 (1.25-ounce) package taco seasoning
3 cups shredded lettuce
2 cups halved cherry tomatoes
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (7-ounce) bag corn chips
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup French salad dressing
2 tablespoons sour cream
Instructions
- Cook spiral pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until tender yet firm, about 12 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.
- While pasta is cooking, brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crumbly and no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in taco seasoning and cook according to package instructions. Allow to cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cooled pasta and taco-seasoned beef.
- Add lettuce, cherry tomatoes, Cheddar cheese, corn chips, onion, and French dressing. Toss everything together until evenly coated.
- Top with sour cream before serving.
Notes
- Add chips and lettuce just before serving to preserve crunch.
- For a spicier kick, add jalapeños or taco sauce.
- Use plant-based meat or beans for a vegetarian option.
- Make ahead by storing dressing, chips, and lettuce separately.
