This Quick Coconut Water Mocktail is a refreshing and hydrating non-alcoholic drink that combines the tangy flavors of orange and lemon with tropical coconut water and a touch of honey for sweetness. Perfect for a healthy boost or to serve as a delightful batch drink for guests.

  • Total Time: 3 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

Mocktail Ingredients

  • 3 oz coconut water (no added sugar)
  • 2 oz orange juice (freshly squeezed is best)
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar (optional – see note 1)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (or your choice of sweetener – see note 2)
  • Dehydrated citrus for garnish (optional)
  • Tajin for rim (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Place coconut water, fresh orange juice, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar or alternative, and honey into a shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake: Shake vigorously for about 10 to 15 seconds to fully mix and chill the mocktail.
  3. Prepare Glass: Fill a serving glass with ice cubes to keep the drink cool and refreshing.
  4. Strain and Serve: Strain the shaken mixture into the ice-filled glass. Garnish with dehydrated citrus slices and rim the glass with Tajin if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Apple Cider Vinegar: Adds a ‘bite’ to the mocktail, mimicking the sharpness of alcoholic drinks. Can be substituted with 1 oz non-alcoholic rum or omitted if preferred.
  • Sweetener: Honey is recommended for its complementary flavor with coconut and orange, but maple syrup or any preferred sweetener can be used instead.
