1 cup white sugar
7 cups water (divided)
1 ¼ cups freshly squeezed lemon juice (strained)
4 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted

Instructions
- Make the simple syrup: In a saucepan, combine sugar with 1 cup water. Heat over medium, stirring until dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Juice lemons: Squeeze enough lemons to yield 1 ¼ cups juice. Strain out pulp and seeds. Pour into a large pitcher with 6 cups cold water.
- Blend peaches: Puree peeled, pitted peaches in a blender until smooth. Add a splash of water if needed to blend.
- Combine: Stir the peach puree and cooled simple syrup into the pitcher. Mix well.
- Chill and serve: Adjust sweetness if needed. Serve over ice and garnish with peach slices.
Notes
- Peel peaches for a smooth puree; leave skins on for more fiber and color.
- Strain the puree if you prefer a pulp-free drink.
- Chill at least 1 hour before serving for the best flavor.
- Adjust sugar to taste—use less for a tangier lemonade.
