Ingredients
1 loaf sourdough or French baguette, sliced
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/3 cup grated pecorino cheese
1 clove garlic, grated
2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
2 tablespoons melted butter (plus more for brushing)
4 ounces prosciutto
8 ounces burrata cheese, at room temperature
2 peaches, sliced
Hot honey, for serving
Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- On a baking sheet, mix parmesan, pecorino, garlic, thyme, 2 tablespoons melted butter, and a pinch of black pepper into an even layer.
- Place bread slices on top of the cheese mixture. Brush the tops with additional melted butter. Arrange prosciutto on and around the bread.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, until bread is golden and crispy and prosciutto is crisp.
- Transfer cheesy bread to a serving platter. Break burrata over the crostini.
- Top with peach slices, crispy prosciutto, basil, and drizzle with hot honey.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- Make the cheese-crusted bread ahead, but add toppings just before serving.
- Try grilled peaches for extra flavor.
- Use ciabatta or focaccia for a different texture.
- Store bread and toppings separately if prepping in advance.
- Use chili flakes or make homemade hot honey for added heat.
