Orange Rosemary Iced Tea is a fragrant and refreshing drink made with black tea, fresh orange juice, rosemary, and ginger. This citrusy-herbal iced tea is cooling, energizing, and perfect for warm days or elegant gatherings.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes (plus refrigeration)
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

4 cups water

4 black tea bags

1 fresh orange (juice and zest)

2 fresh rosemary sprigs, thinly sliced

1-inch piece fresh ginger, sliced

34 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)

Ice cubes, for serving

Orange slices and rosemary sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium pot.
  2. Remove from heat and add tea bags, rosemary, orange zest, and ginger slices.
  3. Steep for 5–7 minutes, then remove tea bags.
  4. Stir in sugar while warm, then let cool slightly.
  5. Strain out rosemary, zest, and ginger.
  6. Stir in freshly squeezed orange juice.
  7. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
  8. Serve over ice with optional orange slices and rosemary sprigs as garnish.

Notes

  • Steep no longer than 7 minutes to prevent bitterness.
  • Adjust rosemary to preference—less for mild, more for bold flavor.
  • Freshly squeezed orange juice gives the brightest flavor.
  • Best served chilled within 3 days of making.
