This Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade is a refreshing, tropical drink inspired by Starbucks. With sweet mango, tangy lemonade, and vibrant dragon fruit, it’s fruity, colorful, and perfect for hot summer days.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes (plus 1 hour cooling for syrup)
  • Yield: 1 drink (base makes 4 drinks)

Ingredients

½ cup Mango Dragonfruit Base

½ cup lemonade (store-bought or homemade)

¼ cup freeze-dried dragon fruit pieces

Mango Dragonfruit Base:

½ cup dragon fruit syrup (homemade or store-bought)

1 ¼ cups water

½ cup mango nectar

¾ teaspoon citric acid

½ teaspoon green coffee extract powder (optional)

Dragon Fruit Syrup:

1 cup water

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup chopped dragon fruit OR 2 teaspoons dragon fruit powder (or both)

Instructions

    1. In a shaker filled with ice, combine ½ cup Mango Dragonfruit Base, ½ cup lemonade, and ¼ cup freeze-dried dragon fruit pieces. Shake well.
    2. Pour into a glass with ice, including the dragon fruit pieces. Garnish with a lemon slice if desired.
    3. Adjust sweetness by adding more or less base as desired.

Mango Dragonfruit Base:

    1. Combine dragon fruit syrup, water, mango nectar, citric acid, and green coffee extract (if using) in a jar. Shake to mix and refrigerate until ready to use.

Dragon Fruit Syrup:

  1. If using fresh dragon fruit: Simmer water, sugar, and dragon fruit for 15 minutes until softened and thickened. Stir in dragon fruit powder for brighter color. Strain and cool completely.
  2. If using powder only: Simmer water and sugar for 5 minutes, stir in dragon fruit powder, simmer another 5 minutes, then cool completely.

Notes

  • Mix the base with water instead of lemonade for a lighter refresher.
  • Use coconut milk instead of lemonade to make a creamy Dragon Drink.
  • Add sparkling water for a fizzy variation.
  • Blend with ice for a slushy-style cooler.
  • Substitute citric acid with fresh lemon juice if preferred.
  • The Mango Dragonfruit Base lasts up to 1 week in the fridge; syrup lasts up to 1 month refrigerated.
