Ingredients
Milk Base
- 1½ cups milk of choice (oat, almond, or soy milk recommended)
Flavorings
- 2 tsp rose water
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2-3 tsp maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- ¼ tsp beet powder (for natural pink color)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high for 10-15 seconds until fully combined. If you don’t have a blender, whisk all ingredients together thoroughly in a medium bowl.
- Warm the Latte: Pour the blended mixture into a small saucepan and warm it gently over low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.
- Serve Hot: Pour the warmed latte into a mug. If desired, pour a shot of espresso into the mug before adding the latte for a rose-flavored coffee. Optionally, garnish with rose petals for a beautiful presentation.
- Prepare Iced Latte: For the iced version, blend all ingredients as above, then pour the drink immediately over a glass filled with ice. Garnish with rose petals if desired.
Notes
- You can customize the sweetness by adjusting the amount of maple syrup to your preference.
- Beet powder not only adds natural pink color but also a mild earthiness—omit if you prefer a more neutral flavor.
- Use dairy or plant-based milk according to your dietary needs or preferences.
- Rose petals are optional and for decorative purposes; ensure they are edible and pesticide-free.
- Adding a shot of espresso turns this into a rose-flavored rose coffee latte.
