  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

Meat & Dairy

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • ½ cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese (grated)

Vegetables

  • ½ cup Yellow Onion (diced)
  • 4 cups Romaine Lettuce (chopped)
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes
  • ¼ cup Pickles (chopped)
  • ¼ cup Red Onion (minced)

Spices & Seasonings

  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper

Condiments

  • Smashburger Sauce (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Chop the romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, pickles, and red onion. Grate the sharp cheddar cheese. Prepare the Smashburger sauce or have it ready for drizzling.
  2. Sauté Onions & Cook Beef: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced yellow onions and sauté until they become translucent, about 3-5 minutes. Push the onions to the side, add the ground beef, and use a wooden spoon to break it apart as it cooks. Season the beef with sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Stir to combine and cook until the beef is fully browned, approximately 6-8 minutes.
  3. Assemble the Cheeseburger Bowl: In each serving bowl, start with a bed of chopped romaine lettuce. Layer the cooked, seasoned ground beef on top of the lettuce, followed by cherry tomatoes, minced red onion, chopped pickles, and a generous sprinkle of grated sharp cheddar cheese. Drizzle with Smashburger sauce to your liking.
  4. Serve & Enjoy: Serve the cheeseburger bowls immediately while the beef is warm, and enjoy a flavorful low-carb meal.
