Orange Infused Milk

- ½ Zested Orange
Spiced Dark Chocolate Ganache
- ⅔ cup Heavy Cream
- ½ Zested Orange
- ⅔ cup Dark Chocolate
- ¼ teaspoon Spiced Chipotle Powder
Spiced Orange Mocha
- 2 shots Espresso
- 2 Tablespoons Spiced Dark Chocolate Ganache
- ⅔ cup Orange Infused Milk
- 1 Dehydrated Orange Slice for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare Orange Infused Milk: Warm the milk in a saucepan to a light simmer, then add the orange zest. Allow the milk to infuse with the orange flavor for 30 minutes. After infusion, remove the orange zest and chill the milk in the refrigerator until ready to use.
- Make Spiced Dark Chocolate Ganache: In a saucepan, bring heavy cream and half of the orange zest to a simmer, ensuring it doesn’t fully boil. Meanwhile, mix the dark chocolate and spiced chipotle powder in a separate bowl. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate mixture and stir continuously until the chocolate melts completely and the ganache is smooth.
- Assemble Spiced Orange Mocha: In a serving mug, combine the two shots of espresso with 2 tablespoons of the prepared spiced dark chocolate ganache. Whisk until smooth and well blended.
- Finish with Orange Infused Milk: Heat the chilled orange infused milk and froth if desired. Pour the hot steamed milk over the espresso and ganache mixture.
- Garnish and Serve: Add a dehydrated orange slice on top for garnish. Serve immediately and enjoy your spiced dark chocolate orange coffee.
