Ingredients
Chocolate Mixture
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- ½ cup peanut butter
Nest Base
- 5 ounces chow mein noodles
Decoration
- 30 candy eggs
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate and peanut butter: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and peanut butter. Heat the mixture in 30-second increments, stirring well between each session until fully melted and smooth.
- Coat the chow mein noodles: Add the chow mein noodles to the melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture, stirring carefully to ensure each noodle is evenly coated.
- Form the nests: Spoon the coated noodles onto a surface lined with parchment paper or wax paper, making small mounds.
- Create nest bowls: Using the bottom of a tablespoon, gently press down and shape each mound into a bowl-like nest to hold the candy eggs.
- Add the candy eggs: Place 2 to 3 candy eggs inside each nest bowl carefully.
- Set the nests: Allow the chocolate to cool and harden completely at room temperature, so the nests hold their shape before serving.
