Air Fryer Pasta Chips are a crunchy, cheesy, and seasoned snack made by crisping cooked pasta in the air fryer. Perfect for dipping or enjoying solo, they’re a fun, lower-oil alternative to traditional chips.

Ingredients

2 cups farfalle pasta (uncooked)

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add farfalle pasta and cook until al dente (about 8 minutes). Drain and let sit for 2 minutes to dry slightly.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Transfer pasta to a large bowl. Add olive oil, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt. Toss until evenly coated.
  4. Place about ¼ of the pasta in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd.
  5. Air fry for 5 minutes, then flip or toss pasta. Cook an additional 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to cool. Repeat with remaining pasta.
  7. Serve plain or with your favorite dipping sauce.

  • Use short pasta shapes like penne or rotini for variation.
  • Add red pepper flakes or taco seasoning for a flavor twist.
  • Use nutritional yeast for a dairy-free alternative.
  • Best enjoyed fresh, but can be crisped again in air fryer if needed.
