These air fryer fried pickles are a crispy, tangy, and addictive snack made with dill pickle coins, panko, and a touch of olive oil. A lighter twist on the classic deep-fried version, they’re perfect for parties, game days, or anytime snacking.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

1 (16-ounce) jar dill pickle coins, drained

1 egg

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling

Remoulade sauce, for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C).
  2. Pat the drained pickle coins dry using paper towels or a clean kitchen towel.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk the egg. In a separate medium bowl, add the panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each pickle slice into the egg, then coat with panko. Place the breaded pickles on a plate or parchment paper as you work.
  5. Drizzle the pickles with olive oil. Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch. Work in batches if necessary.
  6. Air fry for 11 to 14 minutes, or until crisp and golden brown. Cooking time may vary by air fryer model.
  7. Serve immediately with remoulade sauce or your favorite dip.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, substitute the egg with Just Egg and use vegan dip options.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket for optimal crispiness.
  • Try with bread and butter pickles for a sweeter twist.
  • Serve hot for the best texture and flavor.
