Ingredients
1 (16-ounce) jar dill pickle coins, drained
1 egg
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
Remoulade sauce, for dipping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C).
- Pat the drained pickle coins dry using paper towels or a clean kitchen towel.
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg. In a separate medium bowl, add the panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip each pickle slice into the egg, then coat with panko. Place the breaded pickles on a plate or parchment paper as you work.
- Drizzle the pickles with olive oil. Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch. Work in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 11 to 14 minutes, or until crisp and golden brown. Cooking time may vary by air fryer model.
- Serve immediately with remoulade sauce or your favorite dip.
Notes
- For a vegan version, substitute the egg with Just Egg and use vegan dip options.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket for optimal crispiness.
- Try with bread and butter pickles for a sweeter twist.
- Serve hot for the best texture and flavor.
