Ingredients

4 slices thick white bread or French bread, cut into smaller pieces

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup salted butter, softened (or unsalted butter with 1/4 tsp salt)

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried parsley)

Parmesan cheese (optional)

Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, softened butter, and parsley. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on one side of each bread slice.
  3. If desired, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes.
